THIS PRODUCT IS DESIGNED FOR OFF ROAD USE ONLY. PLEASE CHECK YOUR LOCAL AND STATE LAWS FOR THE PROPER USE OF THIS PRODUCT. Every state has different policies and procedures in place regarding aftermarket LED lighting accessories. LEDGlow is not responsible for any fines that you may receive while using this lighting kit. This kit is for off-road use only. Warning: The installation of this kit is recommended to be installed by a licensed professional. The improper installation of this kit will void all warranties. It is recommended to install each lighting strip using Adhesion Promoter, which allows for a much stronger bond between the adhesive tape of the light strip and the cleaned mounting surface of your Slingshot. Adhesion Promoter is an optional installation accessory that is NOT included with your Slingshot lighting kit. PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE INSTALLING AND OPERATING THIS LED SLINGSHOT KIT. 1. Upon receiving your new Slingshot lighting kit, we ask that you first test the kit to ensure it is functioning correctly. Plug the male connections from the strips and control box into the female connections of the harness. Connect the red power wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the black ground wire to the negative terminal of the battery. Once the wires are temporarily secure, power the kit to ensure full functionality before installing it. If everything appears to be working correctly, turn the kit off and disconnect the power and ground wires from the battery to prepare for installation. 2. Starting with the (2) 36” side mounted LED underbody tubes, clean the left and right side frame tubing with alcohol prep pads. 3. Apply adhesion promoter to the cleaned area. 4. Ensure the wire side of the tube is towards the front of the vehicle, and the LEDs are facing outwards. Attach the underbody tube by pressing it firmly onto the mounting location. Secure with zip-ties. We recommend installing the: (2) 24” Strips ʂ On the lower tubular frame supports under the front bumper ʂ On the rear swing arm (2) 18” Strips ʂ On each angled section of the front bumper (2) 10” Strips ʂ In the grille and undertail area. (4) 6” Strips ʂ On the headlight support bar facing the engine bay area on each side ʂ Behind the front suspension area on both sides (6) 2” Strips ʂ Under the seat belt trim on both sides ʂ Around the side roll cage on both sides 6. Zip-ties should be used to secure any strips to the frame rails. 7. Once everything has been installed, we recommend running the power wires for the strips through the back of the vehicle, to the compartment under the passenger side headrest panel. Be sure to keep the wires away from any moving parts. Note: Add-on harnesses are used in order to connect different groups of wires together and run one wire to another location. Add-on harnesses can also be used in order to group specific light strips to be used with the dual zone feature. 8. Connect each strip to one of the 6 piece power harnesses and run the single side of the power harness down through the body panel to the underside. 9. Reinstall the headrest panel. 2 LEDGlow Lighting, LLC • LEDGlow.com Note: Recommended mounting locations below. The strips can be mounted in any area that isn’t hot or near moving parts.

Connect the wires from the front of the vehicle to the second 6 piece power harness, along with the lead wires from the light strips on the rear of the vehicle. 12. Secure all the wires using zip-ties. 13. Clean a flat mounting area near the fuse box location, and the back of the control box with an alcohol prep pad. 14. Place the double sided tape on to the control box and secure the control box to the mounting location. 15. Connect the power harnesses from the light strips to the control box. 16. Remove the fuse box cover and using a test light, locate a fuse that receives constant 12-volt power. 17. Attach the optional expandable circuit to the red wire from the control box. 18. Remove the fuse from the fuse box, place it into the circuit, and place the circuit into the fuse's location in the fuse box. 19. Reinstall the fuse box cover. Note: if not using the optional expandable circuit, locate a constant 12-volt power source and connect the red wire from the control box. 20. Attach a ring terminal connector to the black wire from the control box and connect it to a clean reliable grounding source. 21. This control box comes with a blue wire that is used with a brake light signal. In some applications a relay will be needed in order to change the polarity of the trigger so that the brake light feature will work. If relay kit is needed: Install a SPDT 12v Bosch style automotive relay (AE-001-1) and harness, which can be purchased at an automotive parts store. Connect pins 86 (white wire) and 30 (blue wire) together and connect to a constant power source. Connect pin 87 (yellow wire) to the white wires on the light kit. Connect pin 85 (black wire) to the vehicle’s ground switching brake light source. Pin 87a (red wire) is not used. (Harness wire colors may vary.) 22. Pair your device to the control box and power the kit and verify that all of the strips are lit and working properly. Tech Support 856-768-5700 Ext. 2 • TechSupport@LEDGlow.com ® LEDGlow Lighting, LLC • LEDGlow.com 6 I N S T A L L A T I O N G U I D E Device Pairing Tips & Troubleshooting • Connect the blue wire to the 12 volt positive brake light signal wire from the tail light. Any time the brake lever (or brake pedal) is engaged, the kit will enter into the brake light feature as long as it is turned on in the settings section. (See page 7 for further details.) When released, the kit will return to its last setting. If the Hazard feature is on, then the brake feature will not turn on when the brakes are engaged. Please consult the taillight schematic for the vehicle or have it professionally installed. • Disconnect from the control box when you are not using it to preserve your bike's battery life. This can simply be done by turning off Bluetooth in the Settings of the app. Exiting the LEDGlow Motorcycle Control App will not disconnect your iOS device from the controller as the app was designed for multitasking with other apps, such as answering a phone call, or surfing the web and then switching back to the LEDGlow Motorcycle Control App. The same can be done in the Android version by either turning off Bluetooth in the phone's settings app, or by shutting down the app by double tapping on your device’s “Back” button while inside the app. • This control box is designed with a power save mode that automatically turns on after 8 hours of inactivity. This allows the control box to draw minimum power, ensuring it does not drain your Slingshot’s battery. It may take an additional minute when attempting to reconnect back to the controller while it is currently in power save mode, if you are using iOS. To prevent any battery drain when not in use, you can install the control box to a 12 volt switched source to completely remove power at your choosing. • If you have Bluetooth switched “On” in your Settings app and the controller is powered, your iOS device will attempt to connect to the controller whenever it is in range. You do not need to pair and manually connect to the controller after the initial setup if you are using the same device. Your Android device will connect once your device pairs to your control box and you open the app. • In the event that your Android/iOS device cannot connect to the controller, try one of the following: ʂ Restart/Power Cycle your Android/iOS device ʂ Restart your Bluetooth enabled control box by disconnecting power to it for 20 seconds • The control box operates independently from the app. If your Android/iOS device is not available for use, the control box provides full lighting functionality with color, mode, and speed buttons. This kit is designed to fully operate in conjunction with the wireless remote and without the LEDGlow Motorcycle Control App. You cannot save any presets from the remote; therefore, once you reopen the app, the current lighting configuration shown on your device’s screen will be immediately synchronized back to the controller. • You can have only one phone paired to your control box at a time. To pair a different device, disconnect the first device within the device's Bluetooth settings and pair the second device as described on pages 4 or 5, depending on the device's operating system.

Dual Zone Control On/Off The dual zone control feature allows even further color and lighting pattern customization by independently illuminating 2 sections of the Slingshot simultaneously. Each zone has the ability to power 500 SMD LEDs for maximum brightness. With an unlimited color selection and 10 unique lighting patterns, creative lighting options are truly endless. 2. Brake Light Function On/Off The automatic brake light feature illuminates all installed LEDs in red mirroring the Slingshot’s brake lights, safely signaling other motorists on the road. Pull the brake handle and the brake light feature automatically illuminates red LEDs throughout the bike. This feature can be used whether the control box is powered on or off. Brake light illuminates all LEDs in solid red. Blue wire configuration is required for use of this feature. (See page 3, step #21 for detail on how to wire your control box to use this feature.) 3. Brake Pulse On/Off The Brake Pulse option toggles the functionality of the Brake Light Function with red LED strobes in flashes of three. Blue wire configuration is required for use of this feature. (See page 3, step #21 for detail on how to wire your control box to use this feature.) 4. Hazard Lights On/Off The hazard lights feature automatically overrides any color or pattern and flashes amber LEDs alerting other motorists on the road. 5. Low Voltage Shut Off On/Off The app features a first-of-its-kind low voltage shut off setting that helps conserve the life of the Slingshot’s battery. This feature automatically shuts the light kit off when the Slingshot’s battery voltage reads less than 10 volts for more than 60 seconds. 6. 9 LEDGlow Lighting, LLC • LEDGlow.com Tech Support 856-768-5700 Ext. 2 • TechSupport@LEDGlow.com ® I N S T A L L A T I O N G U I D E Wireless Remote Functions This kit provides multiple lighting patterns and several brightness levels, which are easily operated using the included wireless remote. The remote includes four buttons, “A, B, C, D” Reprogramming the Wireless Remote: Make sure your Advanced Million Color Control Box with Smartphone Control is powered and the LED status indicator is solid yellow. This will indicate that your control box is now ready to be paired to your device. If the LED status indicator is red, disconnect power and reconnect. When the LED turns yellow, press and hold the A button on the remote for 5 seconds to complete the pairing process. Troubleshooting: If the kit or lights do not appear to operate, first check the installed inline mini fuse. If the fuse is blown, check the wires on the entire kit to ensure they are not cut, pinched, or scorched. If there is no damage to any of the wires and no water damage is visible to the control box, replace the fuse and test the kit again. If the inline fuse is intact, clean both the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Corrosion to the battery terminals can cause a poor connection or simulate being disconnected.
