If the fuse is blown, check the wires on the entire kit to ensure they are not cut, pinched, or scorched. If there is no damage to any of the wires and no water damage visible on the control box, replace the fuse and test the kit again. If the inline fuse is intact, clean both the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Corrosion of the battery terminals can cause a poor connection or simulate being disconnected. DUAL ZONE WIRING FOR SMARTPHONE CONTROL BOX UPGRADE **If using the Smartphone Control Box we recommend wiring the kit in two different sections or “Zones,” separating the lights from the engine area and the lights on the rest of the bike. This will allow you to display two different colors at the same time. Below are the steps to have the engine zone separated from the rest of the bike** 1. Plug the 6pc power harness into one of the open plugs on the Smartphone Control Box. 2. Route the 6pc power harness to the first area you want to illuminate and connect the 6 strips for that area. 3. Plug the second 6pc power harness into the remaining plug on the Smartphone Control Box, route to the second area you would like to illuminate and connect the 6 strips for that area. 4. Reinstall the seats and panels that were removed.
