Connect the Red Wire from the control box to the positive side of the battery using a ring terminal. 19. Connect the Blue Wire from the control box to the brake signal wire for the Automatic Brake Lights feature. • Doing this will allow the entire lighting kit to turn red and act as a brake light any time the brake lever or brake pedal is engaged. When released, the kit will return to its last setting. • The brake light signal wire may vary from year to year and changes depending on the location you are connecting to. In most cases it is a blue wire with an orange strip that changes to a purple wire. Use a test light to verify the correct wire. The test light should illuminate with both the hand lever and foot pedal. 20. Connect the Black Wire of the control box to the negative side of the battery or to a clean and secure grounding location. Now that we have the control box wired for power, we will begin wiring the lighting strips.
