Plug the male connections from the strips and control box into the female connections of the harnesses. Connect the red power wire to the positive terminal of the battery and the black ground wire to the negative terminal of the battery. Once the wires are temporarily secure, power the kit to ensure full functionality before installing it. If everything appears to be working correctly, turn the kit off and disconnect the power and ground wires from the battery to prepare for installation. 2. Prepare the bike for installation by removing the seat, and the battery panel. Note: The strips can be mounted in any area that isn’t hot or near moving parts. The surface area must be free of all oils, moisture, dirt, and wax so that the supplied adhesive tape can bond and adhere to the installation surface correctly. Be sure to clean all of the mounting areas with alcohol prep pads and apply adhesion promoter to the cleaned areas. 5. Attach the strips by pressing firmly onto the desired mounting locations, and secure them with zip ties when possible. Note: Be sure to use Zip Ties to secure the lighting strips where possible. This will provide extra security to ensure the lighting strips stay in place while riding in rough conditions. 6. Starting with (1) 4” strip, attach it to the triple tree under the headlight. 7. Mount (2) 6” strips on the frame down tubes facing the engine. 8. Mount (1) 4” strip and (1) 2” strip under the left side of the fuel tank. 9. Mount (4) 4” strips on the lower left side of the frame rail: 3 going front-to-back and 1 going side-to-side to illuminate under the bike. 10. Mount (1) 2” strip in front of the oil tank and battery location facing the engine. 11. Mount (2) 6” strips on the bottom of the swing arm on: 1 on the left side and 1 on the center. 12. Mount (1) 10” strip to the Rear Fender Strut of the rear wheel on the left side of the bike, ensuring it faces the ground. 13. Mount (1) 4” strip behind the air cleaner facing the engine. 14. Mount (1) 10” strip under the right side of the fuel tank. 15. Mount (3) 4” strips on the lower right side of the frame rail going front-to-back to illuminate underneath the bike. 16. Mount (1) 6” strip on the bottom of the swing arm on and 1 on the right side. 17. Mount (1) 10” strip to the Rear Fender Strut of the rear wheel on the right side of the bike, ensuring it faces the ground. 18. Connect the Red Wire from the control box to the positive side of the battery using a ring terminal. 19. Connect the Blue Wire from the control box to the brake signal wire for the Automatic Brake Lights feature. • Doing this will allow the entire lighting kit to turn red and act as a brake light any time the brake lever or brake pedal is engaged. When released, the kit will return to its last setting. • The brake light signal wire may vary from year to year and changes depending on the location you are connecting to. In most cases it is a blue wire with an orange strip that changes to a purple wire. Use a test light to verify the correct wire. The test light should illuminate with both the hand lever and foot pedal. 20. Connect the Black Wire of the control box to the negative side of the battery or to a clean and secure grounding location. Now that we have the control box wired for power, we will begin wiring the lighting strips.

6 INSTALLATION GUIDE Tech Support 856-768-5700 Ext. 2 • TechSupport@LEDGlow.com LEDGlow Lighting, LLC • LEDGlow.com Note: Add-On Harnesses are used to connect different groups of wires and run one wire to another location. Add-On Harnesses can also be used to group specific light strips to be used with the Dual Zone feature that is available ONLY when using the Bluetooth Advanced Million Color Motorcycle Control Box. With this in mind the lights can be grouped to illuminate the engine separately from the rest of the bike or you can group the left and right sides. 21. Plug the 2pc Power Harness into your control box (If installing the kit using the Smartphone Control Box Upgrade, Skip to Step 23) 22. Run the wires to the planned mounting location of the control box and secure them to the bike frame by using the included Zip Ties. WARNING: DO NOT SHORTEN OR CUT ANY WIRES SINCE IT WILL VOID THE WARRANTY. Once this step is complete, and the lighting strips and wires are secure, you can now test the functionality of your kit by pressing the On/Off button on the wireless remote. Wireless Remote Functions: This kit provides multiple lighting patterns and several brightness levels, which are easily operated using the included wireless remote. The remote consists of four buttons: “A, B, C, D.” • Button A: Cycles through 15 Solid Colors as well as a Color Cycle and a Color Fade pattern. • Hold for 5 seconds to select the brightness level when on a solid color. • Button B: Activates Strobing pattern when a single color is selected. • Hold to increase pattern speed when on Color Cycle/Color Fade pattern. • Button C: Activates Fading pattern when a single color is selected. • Hold to decrease pattern speed when on Color Cycle/Color Fade pattern. • Button D: Power On/Off. Reprogramming the Wireless Remote: This procedure is going to be used for programming an existing or brand-new wireless remote to the control box. • If the control box is currently connected to power and ground, please disconnect the ground wire from the ground source. • Reconnect the ground wire back to the ground source, and once this is connected, the lights on the strips will turn green. • Within 5 seconds from when the kit turns green, you can press the A and then the B button on the wireless remote. If the programming is successful, the light strips will flicker green twice, and the kit will remain powered on. If the remote is not controlling the system, please repeat the steps above. Troubleshooting: If the kit or lights do not appear to operate, first check the installed inline mini fuse. If the fuse is blown, check the wires on the entire kit to ensure they are not cut, pinched, or scorched. If there is no damage to any of the wires and no water damage visible on the control box,

7 INSTALLATION GUIDE Tech Support 856-768-5700 Ext. 2 • TechSupport@LEDGlow.com LEDGlow Lighting, LLC • LEDGlow.com replace the fuse and test the kit again. If the inline fuse is intact, clean both the positive and negative terminals of the battery. Corrosion of the battery terminals can cause a poor connection or simulate being disconnected. DUAL ZONE WIRING FOR SMARTPHONE CONTROL BOX UPGRADE **If using the Smartphone Control Box we recommend wiring the kit in two different sections or “Zones,” separating the lights from the engine area and the lights on the rest of the bike. This will allow you to display two different colors at the same time. Below are the steps to have the engine zone separated from the rest of the bike** 23. Plug the 6pc power harness into one of the open plugs on the Smartphone Control Box. 24. Route the 6pc power harness to the area under the seat Connect the following lights to the 6pc harness and 2pc add-on harness and use Zip Ties to secure the wires, being sure to stay clear of any moving parts or direct heat sources: • (3) strips under the tank • (1) 4” strip behind the air cleaner • (2) 6” strips on the frame down tubes • (1) 2” strip in front of the oil tank and battery location 25. Plug the second 6pc power harness into the remaining plug on the Smartphone Control Box. Connect the following lights to the 6pc harness and use Zip Ties to secure the wires, being sure to stay clear of any moving parts or direct heat sources: • (2) 10” strips under the rear fender struts • (3) 6” strips on the rear swing arm • (1) 2” strip under the Air Cleaner • (1) 4” strip under the triple tree (Utilize a 2pc add-on harness and extension if needed. The open port can be used to add more lights at a later time.) 26. Plug the 6pc add-on harness into a port on either the 6pc power harness or 2pc add-on harness and connect the (7) 4” strips under the frame. Note: There will be 1 unused plug on the harness that can be used for expanding the kit. Be sure to wrap the unused connector in electrical tape or heat shrink to ensure it stays clean and dry. 27. Reinstall the battery panel and seat.
